A handmade figurine of a Humboldt Penguin, modelled on one of the penguins at feeding time within the penguin enclosue at Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire. This figurine stands approximately 25cm tall. Made from stoneware clay, modelled and decorated in my own Raku glazes and fired in a Raku kiln with post firing reduction to get the effects on the glaze and bare clay. The fish, glazed in a contrasting colour, fits neatly in its mouth, is separate and can be put in various positions to mimic feeding. Supplied with one additional fish just in case he gets really hungry.
